Lina took a velvet painting class during FOMCON 2025 and painted this masterpiece. I built a frame for it. Lina carved it. I burned and finished it. And Lina hung it up in the Tiki Room.
Lina tried to recreate a simple vintage Mexican carved frame but didn’t quite catch the design of the original. The carvings aren’t as wide as the original. The swipes aren’t wide enough. Oh well, I’ll try a different design or go back to doing Polynesian carved designs again.
