The Sunken Schooner

The Sunken Schooner is a home bar born out of the imagination of Gregory Harte aka: Cap’n Grog. After visiting Three Dots and a Dash in Chicago, Illinois, he was inspired to build a home bar version for his wife and himself. He began construction in October of 2020 and was soon immersed in renovation work and tiki culture. The Sunken Schooner acts as a respite for Greg and his wife, Kathleen, every night after their son heads to bed. The ever evolving decor and tiki ephemera keeps Greg’s active imagination occupied and his creative skills sharp.
